Pickup & Delivery
When do you offer pick up and delivery?
We offer pickup and delivery services Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.
What is the turnaround time for pickup and delivery?
Your laundry will be delivered the next day.
What areas do you service?
We operate delivery routes in Oglethorpe, Clarke, Oconee & Madison Counties.
How much does pickup and delivery cost?
There is no extra fee for pickup and delivery! Regular Wash and Fold is $1.90 per pound for recurring orders and $2.10 per pound for as-needed orders.
Is there a minimum order?
We have a $20 minimum order for in store drop off. There is a $30 minimum order for pick-up and delivery.
Do I need to be home when the driver picks up or delivers my clothes?
No, most customers are not home during their pickup or delivery! You can leave your laundry in a secure location such as outside your front or back door. You can leave instructions for the driver if needed.
How do I package my first Pick Up?
Simply bag your dirty laundry in trash bags and tie them shut. Do not worry about labeling these, our driver will handle it. You will receive a Crawford Laundry bag with your clean laundry to use for future orders!
How do I schedule an order online?
Simply click the "Schedule a Pickup" button, create an account, and place your order for weekly, bi-weekly, or as-needed services.
Is there a contract or long term commitment?
No, there's no contract! You can pause or cancel your service at any time.
When I schedule an order, how will I be billed?
Your credit card will be charged when we close out the order and prepare it for delivery.
What should I expect for my first laundry service?
Our driver will pick up your laundry during your scheduled window and deliver it the next day, clean and folded. You will receive text notifications throughout the process.
Where will you put my hanging clothes if I am not home?
We will hang them on your wreath hanger, doorknob, rocking chair, or drape them over your folded clothes.
What happens if I forget to set my laundry out?
We get it, life happens. There is a $10 missed pick up fee, but you can reschedule for the following day through your online account.
What products do you use when you wash my clothes?
We offer free and clear and regular scented detergent. If you have another preference, please reach out to one of our staff members. We cannot accept detergents sent from customers.
Can I make a special request on how I want my laundry done?
Absolutely! Please include instructions in your order notes & preferences.
What is your lost or damaged items policy?
Crawford Laundry is not responsible for damages caused by items left in customer pockets. If you believe your items are damaged or missing, please contact the store at 706-743-6169.
Do you offer stain removal services?
Yes, stains are treated upon request with an additional charge per item. Please place them in a separate bag with instructions. We do not guarantee stain removal; however, we will do everything within our power to get it out.
How can I provide feedback or reach customer support?

How quickly should I unbag my items?
We recommend unbagging your items as soon as possible, especially for duvets and down comforters.
What is an "average" weekly order?
An average person has approximately 10-15 lbs. of laundry per week.
Do you wash my clothes with other clothes?
No, we keep your laundry separate from others!
Are the machines clean?
Yes! We clean and disinfect the machines regularly.
Do I need to sort my items?
No, leave the sorting to us!
How do I give you special instructions?
Include a note with your order in the Special Instructions section.
Can I send undergarments?
Of course you can! Clients that prefer to keep their undergarments discreet may send them inside of a mesh laundry bag. We will wash, dry & return the undergarments in your mesh bag. These items will never be taken out of the bag unless instructed to do so.
Can I send delicate items?
Absolutely! Please bag these separately with special instructions. You may include a mesh bag or purchase one for $5.
What items will be returned on hangers?
We routinely hang collared shirts, blouses, dresses, hooded sweatshirts, and slacks/dress pants.
Are there additional costs for large items?

Do you iron?
No, we do not offer ironing services.
Are there items that you don't clean?
Yes, please refer to our list of non-clothing items and specialty care clothing items. If unsure, feel free to contact us.

Contaminated Items
We cannot accept items that may pose a risk to our employees and/or the items of other customers. These include items that have been contaminated with:
- Bodily fluids from humans or pets
- Excessive pet hair
- Tar
- Mildew
- Bedbugs
- Poison ivy or poison oak oils
- Hazardous chemical residue
Specialty care clothing Items
These clothing items require specialty care that falls outside of our area of expertise:
- Vintage clothes (in some cases)
- Hats/Headwear
- Fur & Animal products (feathers, fur coats)
- Purses/handbags
- Leather
In Store Drop Off
What are your in-store drop-off wash and fold hours?
Wash and fold service is available Monday to Friday from 8AM to 6PM for in-store drop-off and pick-up.
What is the turnaround time for in-store drop-off wash & fold?
Next day orders are ready for pick up the next day, while same day orders can be picked up before 6 PM if they are dropped off before 12pm.
